Recycling is an action that is quite easy for just about anyone. As our Earth ages and gets into more and more trouble, we can all do something to help it and recycling is an easy choice that anyone can make. When you choose to recycle items you use, you are helping keep them out of the landfills and helping them get turned into something that can be used and not something to be wasted. Glass

You can recycle glass. Not all areas will recycle this, so check in yours before you start collecting it to recycle. You can also recycle plastic. Now days, plastic is being used more and more, but luckily, it can be turned into new products if it is recycled. There are many different categories when it comes to plastic items that can be recycled. You might want to check with your local recycling center and find out what plastics they take and if they want them to be separated. You will find that there are probably many items you currently use that are contained in plastic. Plastic drinking bottles can be recycled, so can many laundry detergent containers, shampoo bottles, bottles used to hold various sauces and many other plastic containers. Like glass, rinse out your plastic containers when you are finished with them to get them ready for recycling.

Another plastic item that can be recycled is the plastic bags many stores use. Most stores that use them will gladly take them back to be recycled.
